In today’s professional spotlight, we’re getting to know Brian Williams, CPA, our Director of Engineering.

Q1: Prior to working at Engineered Tax Services, what job did you have that was most enjoyable?

Brian Williams: Working as an estimator/project manager on large construction projects in the North East.

Q2: What green energy or green building initiatives are you most excited about witnessing the emergence of over the next ten years?

Brian Williams: The development of electric powered cars.

Q3: What would you most like to accomplish over the next ten years (personally or professionally)?

Brian Williams: I would like to grow some hair and continue to always find enjoyment in my work.

Q4: Architecturally speaking, what building, structure or city captures your heart and why?

Brian Williams: Philadelphia City Hall is my favorite building. The masonry and stone work is extremely detailed and ornate over the entire exterior of the building. Philly is also my home town.

Q5: Where have you visited that you would most like to return to and why?

Brian Williams: I visited Seattle over ten years ago and they seemed to be years ahead with regard to “green” lifestyles. I would like to return to see how much progress was made over a decade.

Q6: What skills or interests do you possess that you think would surprise your co-workers or clients?

Brian Williams: I am a Kite Boarding addict and I have traveled throughout the Caribbean in search of windy places.
