Operational Excellence
Before joining Engineered Tax Services, Sarah Herndon built a strong foundation in finance, operations, sales, and project management across several industries. She began her career in the title and real estate industry, where she managed complex real estate transactions and closing operations, before moving into technology, where she led regional operations, project management, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and customer support teams.
Sarah also spent several years in media sales as an Account Executive, developing long-term client relationships and consistently driving revenue growth through strategic business development. Along the way, she gained hands-on experience in financial operations, leadership, business administration, and process improvement—skills that would later become the cornerstone of her executive career.
In addition to her professional experience, Sarah volunteered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, helping organize fundraising and community awareness events.
Sarah is passionate about giving back to her community through service, advocacy, and volunteerism. She previously served as a Committee Member for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, where she helped organize fundraising and awareness events, coordinated volunteers, managed event logistics, and supported outreach efforts to advance mental health awareness.
Today, Sarah continues her commitment to making a difference by supporting organizations dedicated to protecting people and animals. She is actively involved with Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) in Atlanta, Furkids, Inc., Georgia's largest cage-free, no-kill animal shelter, and Best Friends Animal Society, helping advance their missions of supporting survivors, finding loving homes for animals, and promoting lifesaving initiatives nationwide.
