Dave Mitchell comes to ETS as a Business Development Director and is very excited to be part of the ETS Team. Dave’s experience is in building mutually beneficial partnerships with business professionals in the areas of accounting, legal, and commercial insurance brokerage. As a trusted advisor for these industries, he has worked with clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 100, as well as large government agencies. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, he earned his Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University. In his spare time, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, watching his kids’ sporting events, exploring the woods and lakes of northern Wisconsin, Boating, ATVing, and Snowmobiling. Dave also volunteers as a youth football and baseball coach.
Jill Mazur is a Director at Engineered Tax Services, specializing in national client development, relationship management and strategic direction. Jill is a licensed CPA who has found success focusing specifically in the Specialty Tax arena for over 10 years. She is a frequent speaker and professional educator for CPA’s, Architectural & Engineering Firms, and the Real Estate Industry. Her primary focus is on Federal, State and Local Energy Tax Incentives, R&D Tax Credits and Engineering-Based Cost Segregation real estate solutions to help companies, property owners and top accounting firms across the country benefit from under-utilized tax benefits to increase cash flow and enhance profitability to maximize opportunities for success.Jill is a graduate of the University of Texas – Austin, and as a firm believer in giving back to the community, Jill has served on Boards of Non-Profits, and is currently on the Board of the Rotary Club of Houston, Texas, where she resides.
Dave Ramsey in our Dallas Office, has his Managerial Finance degree from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and his MBA from Ohio University. After spending a good portion of his career in banking in New Orleans, he made the unplanned move to Plano Texas due to Hurricane Katrina. He is married to his wife Marcia of 24 years and has 2 sons and a dog named Einstein. Dave is an avid triathlete, having completed over 50 triathlons competing in everything from sprints to the Ironman.
After receiving her BA from Farmingdale University in New York, Cindy went on to build a strong foundation in finance and real estate which compliments her role as Sales Director for Engineered Tax Services, a company that specializes in providing a wide spectrum of engineered accounting solutions. Ms. Blumenfeld is devoted to the conservation of resources and Green Building Environment, and works closely with the dedicated team of ETS professionals skilled in engineering, architecture and accounting to deliver cost segregation studies, energy tax credits, Green Building and LEED building engineering services nationally.
Cindy is committed and focused on educating the CPA, Financial Advisor and Real Estate Investor community on engineered accounting services and the related tax consequences of these services. As an expert in her field, she speaks to local AIA and FICPA chapters on cost segregation studies, green construction and the emerging energy tax programs and has produced articles for many CPA and Real Estate Investment Publications, nationally.
I was born and raised in Greenwich, CT. then moved outside of Boston whereI graduated high school in Weston, MA. then on to New England College in NH. with a BA in Environmental Science. I have lived in Sarasota, FL. for the past 30 years and started work after college for a engineering firm designing and selling energy management systems for buildings. I have been in the cost segregation field for the last ten years and have worked at ETS for the last seven years.I enjoy golf, boating, photography and love to cook.
Geoff has an extensive financial services background including service in the specialty tax, commercial banking and insurance industries. Since 2010, he has consulted heavily with ETS clients to identify, qualify and capture tax benefits. Prior assignments included managing Treasury Management consulting teams serving clients ranging from Small Business to Fortune 500 companies designing and delivering custom-developed operational, systems and process improvement solutions. He has personally consulted with American Express, US Air, Comcast and Merrill Lynch as well as numerous firms ranging from small business to Fortune 500. As CFO and Board Member for a regional bank, he managed all bank operations and financial activities. He was part of a select team that redesigned all treasury practices for the City and County of Denver. Frequent speaker at industry events, with individual and firm- wide CEU and CPE sessions on a variety of topics.Geoff holds graduate and undergraduate degrees from Drexel University.
